senior citizen or an active worker



Daily in the morning when i go to my college in PECHS i see an old crippled man who sells newspaper.if u go through nursery signal u must have seen that man.what inspired me about that man is his courage .from dawn to dusk we witness all type and kind of beggers at different signals & chowks and they seems perfectly alright which make them capable to work and earn respectfully but its a pity that they go for an easy option to beg .while that old man as u can see him in pic has only 1 leg but he didnt surrender and go for easy option of begging but a respectable option to earn living himself even in this age and with 1 leg he works actively.i have seen him moving between the vehicles to sell papers with a smile. i never seen him sad .he always wears his signature smile.i just wanna say to all our senior citizen who r forced to work due to day by day soaring inflation .sorry we r ashamed we cant do anything for u but atleast we can take it to some forums.so ,i m taking it to my blog i dont know anybody read it or not but atleast i put that issue up to grab some attention of our people .hey people wake up we r already late atleast wakeup now .
alas! we r the so called islami jamhoria pakistan cant provide the basics to our senior citizens rather we r earning our indirect taxes from them instead of giving the relaxation of old age to them being senior citizen.

chemical henna


today i applied a cone mehndi on my hand it for my surprise that was of black color not the usual green .besides doesnt have the fragrance of henna in it rather it has some acrid chemical smell.
after 5 minutes i washed my hands and color was here but i can feel the itching on those areas where u can see i applied henna even now after 5 hours .what was that i really felt sad i applied henna n it was some nasty chemical.first i thought it was araq not henna .its name is jashn e hina cone mehndi i think it shoud be mazaq e hina cone mehndi.i applied it as it was in golden color cone so not visible henna otherwise all good quality cones come in transparent cones.


moral of the story is becareful while applying or buying henna.

just like heaven






finally the hot humid summers are here n here comes the goodies of summer .So anyone of u ever visited ambala wala?its a very big shop of milk ,sweet,nimko and other delicacy situated at PECHS .prices(actually this is the good thing)are reasonable.for me its famous for its milk shakes and falooda .if u never tasted its rabri falooda u really missed a lot.atleast u should taste it now.very few are the things u always remember for their taste same is with this ambala's rabri falooda.creamy ,sweet textured falooda which is very rare in karachi although it is very common in lahore(by the way i m pakki karachi wali )and i really missed that in karachi before exploring that speciality at ambalas.its something between rabri , doodh ki both and falooda

in summers its simply mean just like heaven by the way too heavy b/c of milk solids so need to skip a meal after having 1 glass of it. weight is 500 grm and price only 45/-PRS sadly just one week ago it cost only 40 rupees but now due to milk price hike its also increased.if u r a fan of that falooda keep enjoying it but if u never tasted it plz go there and enjoy it .i m damn sure after having this u will say "waqi falooda to sirf ye hee hey".

pakistan/dunya ka pehla perfume chok

if you are from karachi or ever been to karachi u must see "duniya ka pehla perfume chok" "gulistan e jauhar" written on almost every wall .by chance i happened to visit ammar yasir's blog n there i found the details about that famous place as i also saw this advertisement time n again but never able to locate it.i hope u all luv it to read and laugh .

daal palak or chickpeas with spinach














daal palak

  1. palak /spinach :2 bundle or 1/2 kg .take only leaves and wash it well then blanch it.
  2. oil :1/2 cup
  3. daal :2 cup soft boiled
  4. haldi termeric: 1/2 teasp
  5. red chilli powder: 1 tabsp full
  6. onion :2 or 3 large finely chopped
  7. tomatoes :6 normal size
  8. cumin dry roasted then powdered :1tabsp level
  9. ginger garlic: 3 tabsp level
  10. salt:to taste
recipe
  1. heat oil then fry onions till golden brown.
  2. add ginger garlic paste.stir for 30 seconds.
  3. add tomatoes with red chillies ,termeric, salt with 1/2 cup of water.
  4. cover the lid and cook it on medium it till tomotoes tender .
  5. blend the blanced spinach in blender to take a smooth shape
  6. add daal to the tomatoes paste and cook for 3 minutes now add that palak pasteand cumin powder to it. mix it well .
  7. ready to server with naan or chapatis.

(Note on blanching : boil water in a pan n add spinach leave to it but then with tongs take care that all spinach leave is getting heat equally otherwise lower ones will discolor and others will be still uncooked .when all got that treatment stain all that and add that leaves it cold water.)

my experience yesterday


chanay ki dal ka halwa

ingredients


1.chickpea or chanay ki daal 3 cups a bit hard boiled


2.ghee 2 cups


3.suger 2 cups


4.cardomom 4


5.fresh milk 1cup


5.powder milk 1 or 2 cup as u like
recipe
1.boil that boiled chickpea in fresh milk till soft n all milk evaporates.
2.mash that boil chickpea in chopper.
3.heat 1 cup oil for 1 minute add cardomom n then add that paste of chickpea to it n fry while stirring till aroma comes.
4.now add suger n keep fryong n stirring till it again starts drying up
5.add 1 cup of remaining ghee and powder milk n keep mix it well.
6.take an oiled tray n take all that batter in it shape it even n sprinkle dry fruits of ur choice .
7.when cool cut into small pieces .keep it refrigated.
